If your Chrome is in need of one, go ahead and complete the update. You’ll be able to check for updates here. This will open up the overflow menu.įrom there you can click on Help and About Google Chrome. To do this, you just need to click on the three dots you’ll find in the upper right corner. If you’re still having problems, you might need to make sure that your Chrome browser is completely updated. From there, you can right-click on Chrome and select “End Task.” On the menu that pops up, select the Task Manager.

If you’re using Windows, you can press CTRL, ALT and DEL simultaneously. From here, click on “Chrome” and select “Force Quit.” A menu should pop up listing all of the applications you can choose to quit. On Mac, all you need to do is press Command, Option and Escape all at the same time. If the previous steps didn’t work, you might have to attempt force-quitting the browser. Instead, check YouTube to see if it will work. Start Chrome up again, but wait before you restore all of the tabs you may have had up previously. This includes all the tabs you may have opened. If this solution works for you, then it’s all the better because it’s an incredibly easy solution to make use of when you need it. Sometimes all you need to do is shut down your browser and then restart it to solve the problem.
